Tournament of Champions  

Over the past 38 years we have always tried to make our fishing trips more fun.  We have always tried to give something back to our precious clients. 

Well, here we go again with another fun and exciting package.  Both our Mexico fishing lodges will conduct a bass tournament for all of next season.  It is called the “Tournament of Champions” and we will give away two free fishing trips every month – one at each lake.  That’s right, incredible as it may seem we will award a free trip to the angler who catches the largest bass on each lake during that month.  Fantastic and fun! 

Each winner will be awarded a free trip plus a plaque with their name and the weight of the fish.  But wait, that’s not all, the winning guide will receive a cash bonus.  In addition to the trip and the plaque, each winner will have his or her picture put up in the respective camp on the Tournament of Champions picture board.  Each winner will also have his or her picture put on the website and will have his or her picture in our newsletter. 

Now, tell me what other outfitter is going to do all that for you?!  Over the past 38 years we have blazed a trail for our clients and then other promoters followed.  No one has ever done this before and we hope it will set a standard.  I know it will be fun for every client as each cast could be worth $1,395.00.

Ron Speed Adventures, in conjunction with Tru-Tungsten, had a drawing for a Peacock Bass trip to Brazil and a 3-day trip to Mexico at this year's Bassmaster Classic. Jared Miller of Norman OK was the lucky winner of the Brazil trip & William Campbell of Dewy, Georgia won the Mexico Trip. Congratulations!!!

This past season we added new 18-foot EXPRESS BASS BOATS rigged with 60hp Yamaha Motors to our camp at Comedero. Clients have "expressed" how much they like the big casting decks.

This fall one of our trips to El Salto will include Ish Monroe, Mike Iaconelli, & NASCAR's Tony Stewart. This trip is totaly booked but we do have a waiting list should there be a cancellation.
